Cobia Marine was started by Justin Thiart. Justin was born and raised in Durban and has spent many years on the deep and shallow waters as well as many various vessels thus gaining his passion for Boats, after completing his trade he decided to build his own vessel and from there took off as he got orders in. He has since relocated to Johannesburg (Gauteng) and has started offering his wide spread knowledge to boating enthusiasts in the area as he started Cobia Marine. Although there is no ocean in Johannesburg Justin has realized that it is still filled with people who enjoy the wonders nature has provided and strives on making this possible by offering the service at decent prices.

Being in the boating industry he has come to realize that boating is not simply just launching a vessel and off you go, so has ensured that Cobia Marine is equipped to deal with all aspects of the Boating industry from Foam Filling to supplying of Safety Equipment and even the trailer needs the odd tweak and repair which can mostly all be done on site or at the workshop. He is also very hands on with your vessel to ensure you get the best service.
